Rotrans Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. provided supervision consultancy services for the strengthening and improvement of the National Highway NH-55 section from Balikuda to Mulakani in the State of Odisha. This stretch is an important regional corridor facilitating connectivity between coastal and interior areas.
The scope of supervision covered close monitoring of pavement strengthening works, earthwork, drainage systems, culverts, and associated highway structures. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring proper execution of pavement layers, geometric improvements, and incorporation of road safety features such as signage, markings, and protective barriers.
Quality control activities included review of material test results, verification of construction methodology, inspection of workmanship, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, IRC standards, and MoRTH specifications. Regular site inspections and coordination with contractors and departmental authorities ensured timely progress and durability of the upgraded highway. The project contributed significantly to improved riding quality, enhanced safety, and better regional connectivity.
